The first 30-minute in-person introduction music therapy lesson will be $70.

Yes. Reimbursement is available through Regional Center. Please connect with your Regional Center case manger for details on reimbursement. I also participate in Self-Determination.

About Lessons

Do you spend the entire lesson playing piano?

No. The primary goal of music therapy centered piano lessons is not music proficiency, our time will not look like a traditional lesson. Part of the lesson will be learning the basics of piano, and the other part of the lesson will focus on music therapy interventions.

This is to both meet the child where they are in their abilities and to allow the child the opportunity to work on other goals through musical exploration with other instruments and music therapy techniques.

What is music therapy?

“Music therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program.”

— American Music Therapy Association (AMTA)

Refunds will not be issued for last-minute cancellations.
